The Implication of Using Social Media During the Pandemic on Indonesia Netizens’ English Skills

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a rapid increase in the use of social media. With increasing internet, it is becoming easier access information multiple languages, especially English. This study wanted see that frequency playing media was proportional its usefulness helping participants improve their English skills. aims describe how important help participants' language uses qualitative descriptive approach phenomenon related problem. were 20 people as random sample who users from population called netizens. results reveal tool develop skills known have little effect on active which are writing and speaking, but small impact passive reading listening.
